Thank you for this post!
I just had finished a post-valentine talk with students from the university where I teach and I shared the "Yes, I'm single.." photo with them. That's how I came across your beautiful post right here, while looking for the photo source. :) Well, anyway, I shared to them how they can truly discover real love if they wait and trust in the Lord, and still I feel like there are some important points I've missed. Your post here, in contrast, is wonderful. You nailed it. I'm 27 and exactly on the same place where you're at and sometimes I get the urge to say yes to commitment (and eventually, to marriage) even though I don't totally like the guy just because I'm surrounded by people who believes a girl my age should already be married with two kids at the least. I just can't picture myself there yet. I guess I'll just have to wait for my "amazing." :)

Inspiring post! Loving others with the love of Christ does make is vulnerable because it requires us to be humble and put others needs above our own. It is certainly not something we are able to do on our own, but we can through the empowering of His Holy Spirit.

Philippians 2:3-4
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
